Autumn is a season of transition so it’s a great time of year to focus on healthier habits. These 5 tips will help you feel your best all the way through winter:

1- Take steps to avoid cold and flu. Get a flu shot, wash your hands often and avoid close contact with sick people.

2-Take advantage of the weather.  Get outside and see the leaves changing colors, explore nature with the refreshingly cooler temperatures.

3. Eat seasonally. Fall treats such as pumpkins, sweet potatoes, apples, squash and pomegranate are in abundance.

4. Enjoy Fall fun. Visit a corn maze, go apple picking, attend a football game or rake and jump in a big pile of leaves.

5. Think Safety. Never leave candles burning unattended, service your furnace, drive safely and slow down on wet pavement.
